Orange Ribbons Con - 2025

Hi, I'm Rayna Stern, a senior at Livingston High School. If you're checking out this video, it means you're interested in supporting a great cause!

In March 2025, I'm hosting Orange Ribbons Con for the charity Orange Ribbons for Jaime. This charity is a tribute to Jaime Guttenberg, a victim of the Parkland, Florida shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Orange Ribbons for Jaime supports causes Jaime believed in and works towards ending gun violence. They contribute to organizations like The Friendship Journey, Jacob’s Pillow, World Central Kitchen, Ballet and Books, Paley Institution, and more.

One of their latest initiatives, Paws of Love, provides emotional support dogs at no cost to those directly affected by gun violence. This cause is close to my heart because it aims to help people cope with events that are incredibly difficult to put into words. As a high school student, I believe it's crucial to speak up against gun violence and lend a helping hand wherever possible. Sadly, there are way too many shootings happening.

Orange Ribbons Con is a convention, often referred to as a "con,". This is a gathering of fans, creators, and industry professionals who share a common interest in specific genres, series, or themes. Whether you're a longtime fan of a particular movie or show or new to the community, Orange Ribbons Con offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a vibrant and inclusive environment. This unique event not only brings fans, creators, and industry professionals together but also supports a meaningful cause.
